Yea for Tomorrow!

I have to tell you that I am ready to have the work week begin tomorrow, even though it will already be Tuesday. I did work three days last week, but it seems like forever since I've really had my business as usual brain in gear.

Tomorrow it is back to meeting with people -- trying to meet my ten appointments a week goal. Looking at my calendar, I have only three scheduled appointments set for this week. Yikes, I guess I will have to get busy making some calls tomorrow!

On a really exciting note, my friend Michelle Donovan is coming to Toledo from Pittsburgh to deliver a half day session called Armed, Safe and Engaging for Subject Matter Experts. We already have about 23 people signed up for this January 19 session. Michelle is an expert in teaching and presenting methods for adults. So even though we don't start any Certified Networker classes series in January, this will ramp us up for the three class series starting in February.

What are you doing in January to help you be more successful this year?

I have 3 speaking presentations in January and one in February.

Looking forward to attending your "Armed, Safe and Engaging" seminar, I need a bit of confidence in speaking in front of a crowd.

I'm so excited about the new year I can hardly stand myself.

I've had the luxury of four (!!!) days off in a row (there are some perks to owning your own business) and I made a two-page list of what I wanted to get done. I worked hard every day (ok, New Years' Eve was a little light on work). I am pumped!!

Putting Christmas decorations away and doing laundry were not fun, but working on my website and creating e-mails for the store were.

I've set goals and am working daily on them. It's going to be a very HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I've hired a business coach for this year! In addition, I am expanding my business by bringing on two new trainers for Certified Networker and my book "It's NetWORK" will finally hit the bookstores! I'm poised for a great year ... all of it starting off with a trip to Toledo.

Thanks for the opportunity Debby. I can't wait to see you and your colleagues again.

I wonder why EVERYONE is so excited about 2007? My excitement began on New Year's Eve day and I could not contain the enthusiasm for what I believe will be in store for me personally and my business this year!! The Traveling Jewelry Queen theme will be the focus of my business and the plan should be in place after my return from CA mid March. What a great way to begin the new year!!
